THUNDERHEAD day 1
Kickstarter is stressful, man...
It’s true. Watching those pledges on Kickstarter rocket up then stall, rocket up then stall, it was making me sweat, dude! But we did pretty well for the big day one.
So now we gotta keep pushing, get this thing fully funded and out to the people. We’ve got more story to tell and in the next issue we introduce a lot more flower-powered superheroes…

I’m obviously focusing on Thunderhead for the month. But I’m also in the middle of the FIFTH arc of KAYA. Yeah, FIFTH! Very exciting. A big finale is coming for this arc and some BIG new stuff is on the horizon for the next arc. An oversized special. A new backup feature. We’re going hard for these last three arcs, people. But like I said, all the focus is on Thunderhead while the campaign is on, and then I’m gonna talk a lot more about future Kaya plans after.
I’m also still grinding away on my secret “Project 38” for DC Comics. I’m starting on issue two of that six issue series right now. Can’t wait to talk more about that but it won’t be revealed until the beginning of next year. I’ll be showing sneak peeks of that as I go, though.
And hey, just for the hell of it, I started a YouTube show, GRAPHIC LANGUAGE. It’s mostly just me talking about comic book stuff while I draw. The business, the art, some advice for newbies, some recent comics I’ve been enjoying, all kinds of stuff.

I did that all by myself. The text and stuff. Not so bad, huh? Probably in a year I’ll know more about video editing and this will be incredible embarrassing to watch, but right now I’m pretty proud of myself.
